Bullseye Range Rules

  1. All firearms must be unloaded and cased when brought into Bullseye Shooting Range.  Revolvers without a case will be carried by the top strap, cylinder open.  Semi-autos will have the slide locked to the rear, magazine out.  Long guns when un-cased must have the action open and muzzle pointed up.

  2. Firearms may be loaded on the range only when pointed down range, at the firing line, at the assigned stall.  Firearms must not be loaded behind the firing line.

  3. Only authorized firearms and ammunition may be used.  Any round traveling over 2000 feet per second is prohibited.  Only .22 Long Rifle and standard handgun rounds are allowed on the 18 yard range.

  4. Use of eye and ear protection is required at all times on the range.

  5. While on the range, firearms must be pointed down range at all times.  When moved from the firing line, firearms must be cased or carried as stated in rule #1. Rental firearms shall be placed in the tub given to you with the rental with the slide locked back and magazine removed.

  6. Dry firing is allowed on the firing line only.  Dry firing in the lobby or behind the firing line is prohibited.

  7. If a misfire, jam or other malfunction occurs, place the firearm on the shelf, pointed down range, and obtain assistance from Bullseye range staff.  DO NOT leave the firing line with loaded or jammed firearms.

  8. DO NOT use or fire at unauthorized targets, or shoot across lanes.

  9. Negligent discharges, damage to equipment or facilities,  or injuries must be reported to the range master/range staff immediately, no matter how minor they may seem.

  10. NEVER move forward of the firing line.  In anything falls forward of the firing line, alert range staff for assistance.

  11. Any firearm left unattended must be left in one of the conditions in rule #1.

  12. The use of alcohol or drugs is prohibited on the range.  Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited on the range and will be asked to leave.

  13. Smoking, eating or drinking is prohibited on the range.

  14. The strictest discipline and gun safety procedures must be followed at all times on the firing range in order to prevent accidents and injuries. Anyone displaying unsafe actions on the range will be warned to correct the behavior, and any further incidences will result in being asked to leave.

  15. Bullseye Shooting Range reserves the right to refuse service and/or use of the range to any person, for any reason.
