JARDINE 1911 COURSE

The Jardine 1911 Class is with John Jardine of Jardine's Custom. John is one of the top 1911 pistolsmiths in the world, and was the brains behind the Valtro 1911, which has been described as "The best handgun ever made".

About John Jardine

The 1911 is a more complicated design than most guns, which is why it is a beautiful and extremely accurate work of art. Many of us own a 1911 or two (or three or five), and proper maintenance is the key to keeping your high performance pistol in top condition. Learn from the 1911 Master the history behind the 1911, how it is produced, and how to properly break down, clean, and maintain your 1911 pistol beyond the operator level.

During the course, you will disassemble your 1911 down to the frame, learn about the different parts and their function, how to clean and maintain them, and then how to reassemble your firearm.

STUDENT REVIEWS:
"The class was simply outstanding. It was the firearms equivalent of having Michelangelo teach you the basics of painting."
-Jerry

"I enjoyed the class very much, especially the opportunity to learn from the "maestro".  It was especially good of John to provide as much time as needed, without regard to the schedule.  I would be remiss without thanking you and the Bullseye staff for staying late, too.  The course content far exceeded my expectations, and certainly more than advertised.  The background information on 1911s and their operation is just as important and useful as learning to keep it clean.  It is almost an injustice to call it merely a cleaning class."
-Don

"The class was great.  I knew that even if I picked up a few tips, it would be worth it's weight in gold if it prevented me from making the same mistakes thousands of times over. What I didn't expect to get from a cleaning class was the vast knowledge from the master about things to look for, like micro cracks, tuning the extractor, how to know if your spring is too heavy or light, when to change springs and how to know they are shot, the many other tips.  It was really fun at the end to watch John change out a recoil spring and firing pin spring in about 2 minutes.  I look forward to the next class."
-Dan

"Fantastic course!! I learned more about the 1911 than I ever could have with reading, diagrams, schematics, experimentation, etc. I also have a new appreciation for the engineering and mechanics that went into the design of this wonderful pistol.
And, besides that, I now know how to properly maintain my pistols to give them long and useful lives."

-Mike

NOTE:
You must own a 1911 and know how to field strip down to operator level and reassemble. If you cannot do this, we recommend taking our
